Anybody using it, what you think? Only just got it myself and still exploring the content but looks interesting at first glance. Playing 'Anthology' by Tommy James and The Shondells at the moment
cheers

What a curious thing Spotify is....seems you can get it free but only by invitation....if you don't have an invite code then you have to pay.
So <click> that's another casual grazer moving on!
I'll stick to Last.fm which has thrown some unexpectedly nice stuff my way the last few nights.
I've been going to sleep listening to it via the raher splendid iPod Touch that Mrs Pedro got me for Chrimbo.

I have been getting into it this past week. You can easily get invited if you go via a thread on the Word Magazine forum, the one headed "Spotify it's the new iTunes" or something similar.
You have to put up with 30 second ads every half hour or so, but that's no real hardship. I have been finding stuff that I have wanted to check out for a while, and the playlist function is great. I much prefer it to Last FM.
You can set up collaborative playlists, so for example we could have a Magenta Forum playlist, where we post tracks we think might appeal to each other. Check it out if you haven't it's excellent.

I think it's now open to anyone in the UK at least that's what I read Great idea about the forum playlist, not sure many will be listening to mine though

Thanks for this SoftFun, you can get it FREE right now. I do wonder why there is a 99p for 24 hours and a 9.99 monthly option
It is STUFFED with music, and some great 'Radio' stations based on the artist with similar other music played in the channel.

its good for sure, fantastic way to hear new music legally
They need to be informed their entry for Magenta is wrong though. The band write up is correct but it linked to the norweigan magentas album which as we know is entirely different :-/

Sorry for the double post its bad and good news. The bad news is despite me reporting their Magenta info was inaccurately linked to them they still haven't fixed it.
The good news is Ive just discovered that Chimpan A is on there !
